English Design Offices Guide
This page contains a selection of major English architects, with links to individual practice pages. We’ve selected what we feel are the key English Architects, but additions are always welcome. The focus is on contemporary UK architects but information on traditional architecture studios is also welcome.
The most celebrated architect from the past is Sir Christopher Wren, famous for St Pauls Cathedral and a string of church buildings. Currently the most notable architecture practice is Foster + Partners with a global reach and responsible for buildings such as the 30 St Mary Axe and the GLA Building.

e-architect Architectural Resource
Adrian & Isabelle both trained as architects. We set up our architectural resource back in 2000.
At e-architect we try and promote what we feel are the best design practices, pushing good people-orientated solutions. Innovation and creativity are welcomed, but our principal aim is to support built environment solutions that put users and occupants first.
We try not to slavishly follow fashion, in fact we have a cosmopolitan approach to architecture with an acceptance of styles ranging from minimal to traditional. Thankfully the architectural profession appears to have moved on from the rather shallow style wars of previous decades, notable the 1980s, to a more thoughtful way of building shelter for humans.
