This proposal by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates for Next Tokyo, a conceptual Japanese megacity for a half million residents, is a mile-high tower at its center. The tower is designed rise as high as 420 stories. However funding has yet to be announced.

International architecture firm, Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) is pleased to announce the recent groundbreaking ceremony, hosted by leading French developer ICADE, and attended by the French Minister of Justice Christiane Taubira and First Deputy Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo. The building, located in the Parc du Millénaire, along the northern edge of the principal ring road encircling metropolitan Paris (the Boulevard Périphérique), will be occupied solely by the Ministry of Justice. The highly visible landmark structure will serve as one of the public faces of the larger Parc Du Millénaire development.

A planning application has been submitted to Wandsworth Council for the redevelopment of the Market Towers office building in Nine Elms. The proposal designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox AssociatesKPF – is for a mixed use scheme including more than 400 hundred homes, a hotel and a new public square with shops, restaurants and cafés.

A team led by international architecture practice Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) has completed the renovation and restoration of the historic Covent Garden Flower Cellars in London, first built in 1871. The Flower Cellars will be the first completed project within KPF’s recent masterplan for Covent Garden, commissioned by Covent Garden London, a wholly owned subsidiary of Capital & Counties Properties PLC.

Tthe new Midfield Terminal Complex at Abu Dhabi International Airport has been approved by the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi. With ground works already commenced on site, a contractor will now be appointed to commence work on the construction of the Terminal Complex

Adjacent to the Midfield Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport desiged by KPF, the design for the Intermodal Transit Centre and Carpark is an elegant, delicately restrained mass and form which provides visual and physical continuity between the two buildings and, critically, retains primary views to the terminal building.

The design by KPF for King’s Reach retains and transforms the existing 1970s tower and T-shaped podium building.
