Architects Mangera Yvars were replaced with Allies & Morrison by Tablighi Jamaat in 2007.
Then in 2011 NRAP replaced Allies & Morrison as architects for this long-running project.
The project is for a new London Markaz – a multi-functional mosque with a school, offices, dedicated youth facilities, large dining and residential accommodation. Was due to be the largest religious building in Britain and the largest mosque in Europe.

This contemporary architectural studio is based in Barcelona with affiliate offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha.

MYAA (Mangera Yvars Architects) is an award-winning architectural design practice providing Architecture, Landscape, Interior Design and Masterplanning services. The practice have won numerous awards including the World Architecture Festival Prize, American Architecture Prize, and Civic Trust Award amongst numerous others.

The studio have experience in a range of projects from Cultural districts, Waterfronts Universities and Education Facilities, Mixed Use Retail, Hospitality, Eco-Resorts and Leisure, Residential, Commercial, World Cup Sports Stadia, Museums and Cultural Buildings as well as Transport and Infrastructure Projects. The practice work around the world including UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and America.

Current projects include a Cultural building in London, Waterfront schemes in Asia, a new University in the Middle East and Residential and mixed use schemes in Europe.

The practice is actively involved in Academia at various institutions around the world including the USA, UK, Hong Kong, Spain and Middle East. We are currently researching The Future Shape of Retail in 2030, Big Scale Digital Fabrication and we have exhibited widely including at The Venice Biennale, The Victoria and Albert Museum and other institutions.
