e-architect select interesting architecture around the world that is of high quality. Architecture projects from all cultures in the world are welcome. We established our global architectural resource online back in 2000, starting in the UK (hence the url) and reaching outwards. e-architect are internet pioneers.
The website is run by Isabelle and Adrian: we trained as architects, so we are not a typical media organization! Founder Adrian Welch also works as an architect. He sits on numerous international architecture juries, and has given lectures around the world on contemporary architecture, since 1997.
The website’s focus is on building a useful global architecture resource. We know both professionals and students find it helpful, and are always open to suggestions on how to improve it. The news and events interrelate to the resource, however our focus is on developing the cross-referenced matrix of buildings and architects. Projects are added daily seven days a week. We follow the same format for each post, with project description followed by key facts such as client, design team, areas, date, address and the photography credit.
Projects on e-architect can be searched by country, city, type or by architect.
