This page contains a selection of major British architects firms, with links to individual practice pages. We’ve selected what we feel are the key British architects studios, but additions are always welcome. The focus is on contemporary architects in Great Britain but information on key traditional architecture studios is also welcome.
British Design Offices
The most celebrated architects from the past are Sir Christopher Wren in England, famous for St Pauls Cathedral and a string of church buildings, and Rennie Mackintosh in Scotland, famous for Glasgow School of Art. Hawksmoor, Vanbrugh and Greek Thomson are also world renowned. Currently the most notable architecture practices are Foster + Partners, Zaha Hadid Architects and Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners.
