Presented as part of CASA FOA Córdoba 2026, the project reinterprets the gourmet kitchen as more than a purely functional environment, positioning it instead as a spatial and sensory ritual centered around the act of cooking.
Under this premise, fire becomes both the conceptual and operational heart of the design—an elemental force that organizes the architectural experience and symbolizes the transformation of raw matter into nourishment, atmosphere, and shared experience. The space is structured around this idea, allowing materiality, lighting, and spatial sequencing to reinforce the primal and communal qualities associated with gathering around heat and preparation.

Leloir House, Parque Leloir, Buenos Aires
Architects: Besonías Almeida arquitectos
The commission called for a home that could support the dynamic social life of a family with three teenage children while preserving a sense of independence for each member. In response, the design is predominantly organized on the ground floor, allowing all primary living spaces to open directly onto the gardens and fostering a strong connection between indoor and outdoor life.

2 April 2026
Summit House, Córdoba, Villa General Belgrano
Architecture: Karlen + Clemente
The design privileges everyday living in direct dialogue with the outdoors. A continuous social sequence—living room, dining, and kitchen—extends outward to galleries and terraces, dissolving the threshold between interior space and landscape.

The project embraces error, chance, and continuous transformation as integral to the design process, developing multiple full-scale mock-ups directly on site. Form, structure, and function emerge from the material’s behavior, fostering a dialogue between artisanal intelligence and Latin American construction practices, which are defined by empirical making and inventive problem-solving with limited resources.

The interior intervention takes place within a heritage building. además arquitectura’s initial approach to the optics project was grounded in the concept of layers—superimposed layers that explore the diffusion and reflection inherent in the materiality of optics, particularly glass.

The project aims to revive the intimate, neighborhood spirit of such spaces, translating it into a contemporary architectural language that enhances the experience without dominating it.

19 February 2026
NEGRO store, Buenos Aires
Architects: Muro Studio
The interior is organised around a modular metal grid that structures the layout and guides circulation, reinforcing an industrial yet contemporary logic. A restrained palette of durable materials—black metal, steel mesh, natural wood, concrete, and textured finishes—establishes an atmosphere that is both austere and warm, where each element is carefully considered and serves a precise purpose.

Architects: Estudio Ramos
Riberas Clubhouse Belén De Escobar Argentina

Riberas is conceived as a residential environment tailored for young families, positioned between expansive open skies and the tranquil shoreline of a prominent lake. Set at the water’s edge, the site offers a rare and compelling relationship with the surrounding landscape, where natural openness defines the character of daily life.
Early in the design process, the key opportunity identified was the potential to subtly elevate the built form above the existing ground plane. This modest shift in level allows the architecture to capture uncommon and highly valued dual views across two adjacent lakes—an experience that is rarely available within the region.
