House in Linz – 14 Nov 2012
The property is located on a steep slope at the foot of pöstlingberg in the immediate vicinity of the danube. like all buildings along this residential estate’s main street, its width amounts only to 21 m. some of the neighbouring structures extend almost to the property’s boundary; therefore an orientation towards east and west was of lesser importance.

Building Academy Salzburg – 3 Jun 2012
Viscous Affiliation – New Foyer and Adaption of the Building Academy soma’s design creates a new foyer and entrance topography to the Building Academy, and adapts an existing factory hall into a cultural venue. After the conversion, the foyer will serve multiple purposes – as a lobby for the school and as a public space for various cultural events in the adjacent halls, such as presentations, movie screenings, concerts or rehearsals.

Danube University Krems
The building programme for the new campus includes the erection of a new university of applied sciences, a film gallery with a study centre, an auditorium, a library as well as numerous other facilities for the existing and rapidly expanding Danube University. Instead of making parallel wings between the old tobacco factory and the small colony of villas, Dietmar Feichtinger Architects proposed a comb-like structure, which the jury judged to be the optimum basic structure.

Balancing a respect for Nature and Tradition, as well as the interests of the tourism industry means balancing the essential requirements. Building in the Alps requires a constant search for stabilisation, a constant search for new solutions to build ecologically justifiable buildings.

Embelgasse School
With its large glass surfaces, the ground floor affords an insight into everyday school life, opening the inside of the block to the street. The outward appearance of the new vocational training school is characterized by openness, transparency, and through views.
