Designed in collaboration with pioneering temporary structure manufacturer Showblock, the Lanzante Pavilion was first introduced at last year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed and was specifically created to elevate the concept and design standard of a typical event ‘stand’. Set across two storeys and spanning 735 sqft, the cantilevered structure is both a space for displaying the latest Lanzante projects, such as the McLaren P1 Spider and 930 TAG Turbo, to guests and festival attendees and an exclusive entertainment hub.

Atkins and Faithful+Gould (members of the SNC-Lavalin Group) along with framework partner Cundall have published the latest designs for a new school for West Sussex County Council (WSCC) – which aims to be the first in the county to achieve Passivhaus certification. The new school is the largest project to be commissioned under a pioneering multi-disciplinary consultant (MDC) partnership agreement, entered into by West Sussex County Council and Faithful+Gould in 2018.

The Ghyll House is conceived as a 3-sided walled garden. Upon entry to the site, all you can see is a discrete wall in rammed earth, with carefully positioned openings. The house is then backed up against the wall on the inside of the walled garden. The accommodation on this floor comprises the living spaces, the master bedroom, kitchen, garage and other back-of-house spaces.
