Hipped House Epsom
Oliver Leech Architects has given Hipped House, a detached inter-war house in Epsom a new sense of identity through the addition of a hipped-roof two-storey rear extension that reveals a depth of clean, intricate detailing throughout. The clients, a couple with two young children, briefed the architects to redesign the home to include more spacious and open living areas in which they could spend quality time together.

Sir Sydney Camm Science and Technology
Fletcher Crane Architects were engaged by Claremont Fan Court School to design and deliver a new building to provide ten subject-specific classrooms set over two levels, on its sensitive Grade I listed historic estate. The route into the site follows a fall in the ground level, and the new building contrasts this with a strong horizontal roof line.

UCB Windlesham Surrey Science Research Hub
The designs for a new global research hub in Surrey have won unanimous approval from the local planning authority. UCB Windlesham will be home to the UK R&D hub of the Belgian based life sciences company that specialises in discovery and development of treatments for severe diseases in immunology and neurology.

Planning approval has been received for ‘Glade House’, a bespoke contemporary 5-bed family home by award-winning, Winchester based Architects AR Design Studio. Sat within a clearing in a woodland plot, this replacement dwelling seeks to integrate the architecture with the landscape, giving equal consideration to both interior and exterior space.

The client brief required the rationalisation of the existing layout of the house at the rear in the form of a new open plan space to accommodate a kitchen/dining/living area, along with a new independent access.
