This revolutionary education and research space design reflects the beautiful, tropical landscape of far North Queensland while also providing a contemporary teaching and research environment with the highest technological standards. Cradled on three sides by rain-forested slopes, the landscape setting was inherent to the idea of a tropical campus – drawing the rainforest into the campus, enriching the urban campus heart, and in turn stimulating thought leadership from the students.

MJP Architects has unveiled designs for One Harrow, a new building at Harrow College in northwest London. The scheme links the parkland of Harrow Hill to the shopping streets of the town centre, with a series of cascading planted terraces in between the “fingers” of the building.

The 115,000 sqft project is a part of University’s ongoing effort to house 50 percent of its graduate, professional and doctoral students. The scheme houses 215 beds in over 30 different suite types, and includes a faculty director’s suite, a fitness room, study lounge spaces, a multipurpose room, a garage, its courtyard, and a new public open space.
