Rather ungainly Daniel Libeskind building that has met generally unfavourable reviews along the lines of it being just another Jewish Museum spin-off unsuited to the specifics of this harsh urban site in one of the less affluent areas of north London. The LMU Building is set immediately off the east side of the busy Holloway Road, close to the Emirates Stadium (by HOK, home to Arsenal football club).

Facilities in this higher education building include a state-of-the-art lecture theatre, three seminar rooms, IT facilities and a social space for students. It inspires both lectures and students alike and the bold space gives the community an interesting and distinctive presence.
This building has won many accolades including the RIBA prize in 2004, and also a special prize in the Royal Fine Art Commission Trust’s Building of the Year Awards; the Jeu d’Esprit award 2005.
The Graduate Centre, as all of London Met’s Holloway buildings, is located opposite the Holloway Road tube station and also very close to the Victoria line at Highbury & Islington station.
Nearest Tube: Highbury & Islington – Victoria Line
