Once referred to as the “City of Willows,” Wenjiang was a pivotal cultural and geographical hub during the ancient Shu-Yufu dynasty.

This new Chinese railway station building design by von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects (gmp), together with China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group (T4) and Shanghai United Design Group (UDG). The station is the centerpiece of a new area in eastern Nanchang developed according to TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) principles, which will include office spaces for start-ups, shops, spaces for cultural activities and creative industries as well as residential units.

MAD Architects has completed Jiaxing Train Station, the firm’s first transportation infrastructure reconstruction and expansion project. Located at the center of Jiaxing, a historic city 100 kilometers southwest of Shanghai, the project replaces a dysfunctional train station that had stood at the site between 1995 and 2019.
