From the Architect’s Perspective
In the bustling metropolis of Shanghai, the Hatch Architects firm has had the privilege to participate in an extraordinary project—the MAX Science and Technology Park. This is not just an architectural practice; it is also an innovation and challenge to the traditional concept of a science and technology park.
Innovation in Environmental Integration
Hatch Architects’ design team is well aware that architecture is not only about creating space but also an art of dialogue with the environment. The design of MAX Science and Technology Park, from the very beginning, has abandoned the closed and single nature of traditional science and technology parks. We adopt the concept of “Science and Innovation Green Valley,” extending natural landscapes to every corner of the park. Here, you can see the seamless integration of architecture and nature. The white curved exterior of the building not only echoes the beauty of the Mei Lan Lake’s landscape but also symbolizes the harmonious coexistence of technology and nature.
Breakthrough in Functional Diversity
The planning of MAX Science and Technology Park breaks through the limitation of single-function traditional science and technology parks. We have carefully arranged the headquarters of enterprises, R&D pilot areas, technology incubation areas, and supporting service areas, providing a comprehensive platform for work and life for enterprises and talents within the park. This multifunctional integration is incomparable to traditional parks.
Convenience of Transportation Connections
We understand that a successful science and technology park must keep pace with the development of the city. MAX Science and Technology Park is close to Mei Lan Lake and is closely connected to the heart of Shanghai through the Hu Tai Highway and Metro Line 7. This convenient transportation connection allows every member of the park to easily enjoy the prosperity and convenience of the city.
Commitment to Sustainable Development
At MAX Science and Technology Park, we promise that sustainable development is not just a slogan but a practice. From rainwater collection systems to intelligent energy management, from green roofs to efficient insulation materials, we have adopted a series of environmental protection technologies and measures to ensure that the operation of the park has the lowest impact on the environment.
Vitality of the Innovative Community
MAX Science and Technology Park is a vibrant innovative community. Our design not only focuses on the building itself but also on the interaction between people, architecture, nature, and technology. We believe that such an environment can stimulate people’s creativity and promote the exchange and collision of knowledge.
Hatch Architect’s Envision
At HATCH Architects Firm, we are not just architects; we are dreamers and innovators. MAX Science and Technology Park is a profound exploration of the integration of architecture and environment, technology and life. We invite you to experience this innovative work and feel the charm of technology and nature dancing together.
