Buying property—whether it’s land, a house, or an apartment—is a major financial and legal undertaking. It requires careful planning, research, and due diligence. Here’s a comprehensive step-by-step guide to help you through the process:
How to Buy Property Step-by-Step Guide
1. Define Your Purpose and Budget
Know Why You’re Buying:
Primary residence (to live in)
Investment (rental income or capital growth)
Vacation/second home
Land for development or agriculture
Set a Budget:
Include purchase price, closing costs, property taxes, insurance, and renovation or furnishing costs.
Get pre-approved for a mortgage (if not paying in cash).

Consider:
Location: Safety, schools, amenities, transport
Market trends: Prices rising or falling?
Zoning: Can you build, rent out, or develop the land/property?
