“This restructuring project makes it possible to intensify a strong architectural gesture” – this briefly describes the basic idea of our Paris office for the renovation of the former modernistic Peugeot headquarters (Architects Sainsaulieu) near the Arc de Triomphe. The project offers the central Parisian urban space an exciting, 110-metre-long façade. The existing concrete structure forms the backdrop for an innovative window system.

Contemporary yet timeless. A 1980s building set at the boundary of a historic town centre and the River Seine was to be brought up to date whilst retaining the particular cachet of its location. The renovation of this 175m-long building proved extremely demanding in terms of architecture, city planning and functionality.

Renovation of Vaincre la Mucoviscidose Association Offices
Through its new associative and strategic ViVa 2026 project, “Vaincre la Mucoviscidose”, a French association fighting against cystic fibrosis, has set the goal of strengthening bonds to build a stronger community. This objective translates into a need to renovate outdated and unwelcoming premises. By improving the quality of its offices and creating new reception spaces, the association’s headquarters will be a true rallying point for its partners and members.

The project takes place on the ground floor of a building of flats, behind a large window looking out onto the street. The office space to create has a single orientation; it is a well-lit, plainly treated volume with a simple geometry. The commission consisted in fitting-out an office space including five identical desks, a common meeting room and shared facilities.

The new headquarters of the Ministry of Defense in south western Paris has been designed as a natural machine. The building’s façade alternates between both transparency and opacity via horizontal slat work, providing both intimacy and transparency. The wings of the building are built on stilts surrounding internal courtyards under a vast origami-like roof made of angular sections. The project will bring together all of the main bodies of the French armed forces ( Army, Air force, Navy) on one site.
