Rem is a celebrated leader of the Dutch design studio called OMA, formerly Office of Metropolitan Architecture, known both for his theoretical writing and his innovative buildings.

Herzog & de Meuron – Switzerland

This is a creative Swiss architectural practice with a large body of work in Switzerland, but also some key buildings in other countries such as the Napa Valley Vineyard in California, USA.

Jean Nouvel – France

This Parisian architect is notable for major works such as concert halls and large music venues. Architect Jean Nouvel opened his own architecture office in 1975. His architectural break came in 1981 when President Mitterand commenced his Grand Projets – major Parisian buildings – and by 1988 his lnstitut du Monde Arabe was complete. Its façade was unlike anything seen before and catapulted Nouvel into international architect stardom.

Daniel Libeskind – USA

Studio Daniel Libeskind was founded in 1989 by Daniel with his wife Nina. The architect was born in 1946 in Łódź, Poland. The main architects offices is located in New York, NY, USA. The international design firm has sub offices in Zürich, Switzerland and Milan, Italy. Daniel is an American citizen, registered as an architect in Germany.

David Chipperfield Architect – UK / Germany

David Chipperfield studied at the Architectural Association, London. He worked in the architecture practices of Douglas Stephens, Richard Rogers and Norman Foster, all London. DCA began 1984 in London, 1987 in Tokyo. David was the Architectural Laureate for the 2013 edition of the Japan Art Association’s Praemium Imperiale.
