The station’s length is an immense 430 metres!

It is located on the site of the historic Lehrter Bahnhof.

Until it opened as a main line station, it was a stop on the Berlin S-Bahn suburban railway temporarily named Berlin Hauptbahnhof–Lehrter Bahnhof.

The station is operated by DB Station&Service, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG.

Origami Tigers – Hauptbahnhof Berlin

Digital tigers on WWF world tour

Sydney’s digital origami tigers have been adopted by the World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF) for their international Year of the Tiger campaign.

The official launch was held yesterday at Hauptbahnhof, Berlin’s central station, where they will be on display until 30th August.
