Following OAC’s win on the international design competition and completion of the master plan for Famen Temple Zen Meditation Centre in 2012, the London-based Office for Architectural Culture recently completed the schematic designs for the buildings, landscape, and experiential features and art installations for meditation in the first phase of the project called the ‘Eightfold Path Forest’.

20 months after the ground breaking ceremony, ksg handed over the synagogue to the Jewish community of Ulm, Germany. The large window with the Star of David pattern indicates the direction of Jerusalem.

Cracks were clearly visible in the front elevation masonry of the church of St. Michael the Archangel, indicating serious building damage. Due to its irregular architecture, the church – like all historic buildings – required a precise analysis of existing conditions as a basis for the renovation work.
