“Infinite Space: The Architecture of John Lautner” is a feature‑length documentary film about the life, work, and philosophy of the influential American architect John Lautner. Directed by Murray Grigor, the film was released in 2008 and runs about 90–91 minutes.

The documentary traces Lautner’s lifelong quest to create what he described as “architecture that has no beginning and no end”—spaces that feel expansive, fluid, and deeply responsive to human experience. It combines archival recordings of Lautner’s own commentary, interviews with his family, colleagues, and notable architects influenced by him (including Frank Gehry), and footage of many of his key buildings.
