The reopening of Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center took place in Feb 2009
The revitalization of this building is a key element of a major redevelopment of Lincoln Center by acclaimed architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro, in collaboration with FX Fowle Architects.
The development’s intention is to modernize the concert halls and public spaces and renew the 16-acre urban campus to create a more open and vibrant environment.
The original building dates from 1969
Diller Scofidio + Renfro’s major work prior to this project was the ICA Boston building.
