King’s Cross: Regenerating a London Landmark will feature 70 original objects including drawings, photographs, models, and film footage documenting the work by John McAslan + Partners and Network Rail to transform London’s King’s Cross terminus.

McAslan’s sensitive restoration of Lewis Cubitt’s 1852 terminal is examined, as is the practice’s striking new Western Concourse which re-establishes the Station’s original entrance and enhances transportation links with London Underground, St Pancras, Thameslink, buses and taxis to create a new super-hub. Display objects on loan from John McAslan + Partners will document the regeneration of King’s Cross terminus within the contexts of design, transportation planning, engineering, preservation, and civic renewal.
