In 2017 news was revealed that this famous French landmark structure could get a makeover as Paris bids for the 2024 Olympics. Mayor Anne Hidalgo proposed a 15-year, €300 million upgrade, to include better elevators, increased security, refurbished lights and an improved visitor entrance.

At 220 meters high, one of the business district’s highest buildings, HEKLA develops 76,000 sqm floor area of offices and services over 49 stories and can accommodate up to 5,800 employees in work spaces which are among the most innovative and environmentally-friendly in Paris La Défense.
