The new building is in giddy proximity to the Dome/O2/North Greenwich Arena, which sets up an unavoidable clash of scale and geometry. The relatively standard programme could have produced a building that could not converse let alone compete with its neighbour.

Reiss Store
Squire and Partners won a limited competition to design this building, which functions as both a headquarters and an icon for the Reiss brand. The building incorporates three storeys of offices, cutting rooms and design studios, a further floor for corporate meeting rooms and David Reiss’s office, and a luxury penthouse flat.

The RIBA announced in 2013 that a team led by Theis and Khan Architects Ltd. have been selected to design the Institute’s new offices at 76 Portland Place, London, W1. The new premises, just a couple of doors from the Institute’s Art Deco landmark building at 66 Portland Place, will be transformed to provide high-quality new office space that will be exemplary in its design, and environmental sustainability.

A twelve storey, 450-room hotel in a prominent location on London’s Albert Embankment, opposite Tate Britain and Millbank Tower.
It was completed in the summer of 2005 and at the time it was the largest new-build hotel project in the capital.
