The Loft on Bufalini Street in Florence, in the very historical centre of the city, is the result of the restoration of an ex music hall.
The double-height space, with barrel vaulted and frescoed ceiling, has become a dwelling for a family with kids thanks to the project of FABBRICANOVE Architetti, an architectural studio founded in Florence in 2009 by Enzo Fontana, Giovanni Bartolozzi, Lorenzo Matteoli.

New Pecci Centre for Contemporary Art in Prato
The first center for contemporary art in Italy was born in Prato in 1988. Conceived by entrepreneur Enrico Pecci and donated to the city in memory of his son Luigi, the Center was built with the support of several founding partners, including the Municipality of Prato, the local industrial association, Cassa di Risparmio di Prato, and a large group of private citizens: a rare Italian example of collaboration between public institutions and private patrons.

Nuovo Centro Civico is a new town centre in the suburbs of Florence. The project is part of an urban plan commissioned by Scandicci Council which is transforming the area from classic edge city (rather placeless and spatially dispersed) into a series of urban centres which new public spaces, public and private buildings and a new tramline connecting Scandicci with Florence.

The project was created with the intention of transforming the strong physical limitations, in a series of architectural cues; the available surface is in fact quite limited in size and characterized from a trapezoidal shape and has a possibility of building relatively limited; the building area is inserted in an urban environment characterized by a low quality and from a certain density of the buildings.
