Arezzo House Design

The house is built around a patio on which are opened the most important environments of the living area; the transparence of the walls allows the visual perception as an extension of interior space.

With this type of introverted organisation, classically inspired (peristilio), the house will enjoy great breathing space while ensuring the right level of privacy.

From the outside, in fact, the composition is much less receptive to the views.

It’s features a large septum folded covered with metal panels (corten steel) that protects the central court, taking on the appearance of a destructured “shell” wrap-around; this higher order structure serves as an ordering element compared to the composition.

Acting on the paths, walls, the flue, the materials, the structured garden all the elements organize the movement’s flow.

It has been worked on the consistency and on the mass of the buildings, “blurring” it to degrade in the nature to obtain an architecture able to integrate effectively with it.
