Andrea Branzi by Toyo Ito
from 19 March – 4 October 2026
On March 19, Triennale Milano and Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain will present Andrea Branzi by Toyo Ito. Continuous Present, a major monographic exhibition dedicated to Andrea Branzi, seen through the eyes of Pritzker Prize–winning architect Toyo Ito.
Curated by Nina Bassoli and Michela Alessandrini, the exhibition traces Branzi’s extraordinary trajectory across more than 400 works. The show explores themes central to Branzi’s thinking: fragility, hybridization, ecology, coexistence, and the porous boundaries between architecture, art, and design.
Rather than a chronological retrospective, Continuous Present unfolds as a thematic archipelago, where installations, objects, drawings, and photographs enter into dialogue to foreground the enduring relevance of Branzi’s ideas today. The exhibition also highlights Branzi’s deep ties to Triennale Milano, where he was active as a designer, theorist, and curator for nearly five decades.
Opening during Milan’s vibrant spring season and accompanied by a public programme, including a lecture by Toyo Ito architect on Monday April 20 at 11.00 during Milan Design Week, the exhibition offers a timely opportunity to reconsider Branzi’s enduring influence on contemporary design culture.

Architecture of Connection
5 March to 20 September 2026
Austrian Cultural Forum New York, NY, USA
An upcoming architecture exhibition at the Austrian Cultural Forum New York titled “Architecture of Connection”, a major solo exhibition dedicated to the work of internationally renowned Austrian architect Dietmar Feichtinger and his studio.
Founded in Paris in 1994, the practice has developed a distinctive architectural approach grounded in structural clarity, technical precision, and a sustained engagement with public space. Spanning bridges, transportation infrastructure, educational and cultural institutions, residential buildings, and civic projects, Feichtinger’s work investigates how architecture can function as a connective system—linking people, places, and urban environments.
At the core of the practice is a rigorous structural concept in which structure is not concealed but articulated as the primary spatial framework. Engineering systems and construction details remain visible and form an integral part of the architectural language, aligning architecture and engineering within a coherent design methodology focused on accessibility, spatial legibility, and long-term performance.
The exhibition brings together models, drawings, films, and panoramic documentation of completed and ongoing projects. It highlights the relationship between architecture and engineering while foregrounding the collaborative nature of construction. By acknowledging the contributions of engineers, craftsmen, and clients, the exhibition situates architecture within a broader collective process.
The exhibition opens March 5 at 6 p.m. and will run through September 20, offering an in-depth view of Feichtinger’s projects and design philosophy.
About Dietmar Feichtinger:
Born in 1961 in Bruck an der Mur, Austria, Dietmar Feichtinger studied architecture at the Graz University of
Technology, graduating with honors in 1988. In 1994, he founded Dietmar Feichtinger Architects in Paris.

Group exhibition:
Toward an Architecture: Five Points
at Le Corbusier-designed Casa Curutchet in La Plata, Argentina
The 19th Buenos Aires International Architecture Biennial
Dates: October 8–22 2024
The exhibition juxtaposes 70 photos and drawings of four creatives:
Roland Halbe, Architectural photographer, Stuttgart, Germany
Christoph Hesse, Architect, Berlin, Germany
Nic Lehoux, Architectural photographer, Point Roberts, USA
Nikoloz Lekveishvili, Architect, Tbilisi, Georgia
The works on display are paired with Le Corbusier’s quotes from his seminal 1923 book, Vers une Architecture (Toward an Architecture). Photographer Roland Halbe brings highlights from his prolific career—unconventional views of buildings and architectural fragments he captured around the globe. Nic Lehoux presents a photo essay of the just-completed expansion of the Joslyn Art Museum designed by Snøhetta in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Christoph Hesse assembles photos of “Open Mind Places” pavilions, which he has been realizing in his home village, Korbach, Germany. Nikoloz Lekveishvili gathers his characteristic sketches of historic architecture and some of his own; he enjoys drawing people and nature by relying on his imagination to augment reality.
Thank you for your interest. Additional information can be obtained on the Buenos Aires Architecture Biennial’s website and Instagram page.

Two Exhibitions in M4H Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Down To Earth Reopens
After months of lockdown, DOWN TO EARTH reopened on 9 June 2021 with two exhibitions: RECLAIMING THE COMMONS and WATERSCHOOL M4H+.
While there is no denying the seriousness of the current pandemic, the climate and biodiversity crisis is increasingly and urgently confronting us with the fact that we have pretty much ruined our relationship with the planet.
Science warns us: we’re almost at the tipping point. This puts us on high alert and forces us to radically change how we think and act, to create design solutions that will concretely and sustainably allow us to land.
Presenting the exhibitions RECLAIMING THE COMMONS and WATERSCHOOL M4H+, the IABR is once again on top of current affairs: climate crisis, mass extinction, global warming, and rapidly growing inequality. It is here that the IABR believes its key challenges lie.

Chronicling the pandemic
A research project that the Equilibrium Network is instigating:
They are inviting anyone and everyone who is working within the built environment to send a short video of themselves, filmed on their phones, talking about the impact that the pandemic has had on their lives, and the long-term changes that they envisage as a result, both personally and professionally.
