This Catalan accommodation tower (left of the image above) is 154m high and uses and expressed, white-painted regular structural frame. Located immediately west of the Mapfre Tower building (right of image) on the seafront.
The tower has 44 storeys, and contains 483 rooms.
This luxury hotel is currently operated by Ritz-Carlton.
The architects of the tower – Skidmore Owings Merrill (SOM) – are headquartered in Chicago with offices in New York and other key cities across the globe.
