Collins’ expertise guiding teams and forging strategic partnerships is integral to the design and delivery of innovative facilities that are collaboratively formed, partnership driven, and patient-centered. He is a Vice President on the leadership team and past president of the Health Care Institute, an IFMA Alliance Partner where he created the Facility Management Track for HealthCare Design for the past three years and developed the Green Patient Room. The GPR was a nationally recognized exhibit for three years at 15 conferences with exposure to more than 75,000 attendees and 150 hospitals that demonstrated green materials and technologies and showcased a healing environment based upon evidence-based design. His marketing efforts lead the design-build win for the $321 million OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital Neuroscience Institute and Bed Tower in Columbus.

“We look forward to the greater depth of exposure Gary can bring to our growing national healthcare practice. Gary’s desire to be more integral to the entire lifecycle of a project fits well with PFB’s current customer service practice and attention to excellence.” Indicated Thomas C. Jeziorski, PFB Chicago’s recently appointed Managing Partner.

PFB Architects, Inc. has been serving the Southwest and Midwest markets for the past 59 years with offices currently in Cincinnati, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois. Apple on Michigan Avenue
Inspired by the pulse of Chicago’s artistic energy, Apple has created a new platform for performance in a city charged by music. Located at the intersection of the Chicago River and North Michigan Avenue’s ‘Magnificent Mile’, Apple Michigan Avenue cascades down from Pioneer Court to the river’s edge, creating new connections between the city and the river.
