Lewis & Hickey Architects Open Office In India
Scotland architects Lewis & Hickey is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in India.
This latest office complements the five UK plus Prague offices and is located in the historic city of Mumbai providing an excellent base from which to service its growing workload in Asia.
Mike Jauncey, L&H’s group operations executive states: “This new facility enhances our geographic spread of offices and continues our policy of thinking globally and our commitment to servicing clients locally. We have an increasing international workload in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and now Asia, so opening an office in India was a logical step in assisting clients who wish to take advantage of our strong commercial design approach in this rapidly expanding market.”
Dipak Kotecha, managing director of the new office added: “We are currently delivering several retail work streams including large format apparel stores, health & wellness and boutique apparel shops. We are also dealing with a variety of enquiries from interested parties both from within India itself plus companies intending to invest in India for shopping centres, hotels new leisure concepts and roll-outs of retail outlets. Our extensive retail track record along with our expertise in other sectors such as residential, industrial and offices enables us to assist clients with specific use or mixed use projects.”
