Cardiff City Stadium Building, Leckwith area
Wales and Ukraine play the World Cup Qualifying Playoff Final today, 5th June, at 5pm in the Cardiff City Stadium.
The architect of the venue was ARUP, and the building dates from 2009.

The winner will become the 13th and final European team to qualify for FIFA World Cup 2022. The two nations clash in the play-off final at Cardiff City Stadium.

This venue is not to be confused with the Millennium Stadium, which was designed by HOK Sport.
Wales v Ukraine: FIFA World Cup Qualifying Playoff Final – 5pm BST kick-off
This Welsh football ground is the home of Cardiff City Football Club and the Wales national football team.

Following expansion of the Ninian Stand in July 2014, the stadium officially holds 33,280 supporters. The stadium replaced Ninian Park as Cardiff City’s home ground in 2009.
After the Millennium Stadium, it is the second largest stadium in Cardiff and in Wales. The stadium is part of the Leckwith development, which also includes the Cardiff International Sports Stadium.

Cardiff Architecture Exhibition
Architectural exhibition explores our interaction with surroundings in a multi-faceted display, offering an insight into how our everyday environments are designed.
This architecture exhibition looks at the effects of texture, heat and light on everyday surroundings. It is a collaboration between the Design Commission for Wales and Ruthin Craft Centre.

Edwina Hart AM, Welsh Minister for Economy, Science and Transport has officially opened the £30m Hadyn Ellis Building. Designed by IBI Nightingale, it is the first phase of the exciting and emerging new Science and Innovation Campus at Maindy Road being developed for Cardiff University.

Maggie’s has announced it is to build a Centre at Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff. The partnership between Maggie’s and Velindre NHS Trust will benefit thousands of people living with cancer in Cardiff and the surrounding area. Architects Dow Jones has agreed to design the Centre and is currently in talks with the Trust and Maggie’s to find a suitable site.
