MIAMI, FL – Sunland Group, a leading, full-service design, development, construction, and brokerage firm, today celebrates the debut of the Marea Collection, its highly anticipated selection of newly-built waterfront homes, with the launch of its first two residences, Casa Vista and Casa Coral. Comprising four homes total when complete, the Marea Collection is introducing a caliber of design and quality unprecedented in Miami’s exclusive Belle Meade neighborhood. While each home possesses its own distinct style and architectural vision, the single-family residences are seamlessly connected through their modern, yet timeless aesthetic and overwhelming emphasis on their pristine waterfront location and private access.
Casa Vista Marea Collection in Miami Belle Meade homes:
Design is at the forefront of the Marea Collection with Sunland Group’s in-house design team taking extreme care to craft each property. The line between indoor and outdoor living is beautifully blurred, ensuring sun-drenched interiors and an abundance of expansive waterfront vistas. To further elevate the Collection’s design presence, Sunland Group tapped acclaimed Chilean Architect Gonzalo Mardones, an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, to collaborate on two of the residences. The resulting selection of homes delicately plays off each other to create a cohesive group of properties that collectively redefine Miami’s vision of opulent waterfront living in one of its most desirable enclaves.
“Design is at the center of our ethos, which is why we opted to integrate this specialty into our practice. We’re incredibly proud of the Marea Collection as it showcases this focus and attention to detail and craft,” explained Nicolas Izquierdo, Managing Director. “Waterfront single-family homes are highly desired among buyers looking to settle in Miami so we knew we had to let the location guide the design process. It was also very important that these homes embody comfort and elegance. Waterfront living is inherently casual and so we sought to reimagine this in a luxury setting to create living experiences that feel at ease yet sophisticated.”
Clad in striking white stucco envelopes, each home within the Marea Collection seamlessly doubles as a waterfront sculpture that enhances the natural beauty of Miami’s sought-after waterways. Building upon the idyllic location and with the goal of drawing the outdoors gracefully in, the design team leveraged light as a primary building material, taking care to meticulously shape each residence, not unlike a sculptor with clay, to maximize the number of windows and create sun-filled interiors throughout all points of each home. This emphasis on architectural sculpture and light exemplifies the overarching design-centric ethos inherent to the collection.
Located at 7725 and 7717 NE 8th Avenue, Casa Vista and Casa Coral, respectively, each possess an astounding 50 feet of exclusive waterfront access. The homes are more akin to serene sanctuaries, as evidenced by their unparalleled views of the city’s waterways and multiple waterfront outdoor spaces. The oversized rear outdoor spaces, seamlessly connected to the ground floor living areas, are a standout feature of the homes. They include a private lap pool, spa, alfresco dining area, and spacious sundeck.
Other hallmarks of the Marea Collection that extend through each residence include large private terraces off of the primary bedrooms and a coveted rooftop patio, which the design team envisioned as the homes’ “fifth façade” in a thoughtful nod to 1920s modernist design principles. Intentionally incorporated details such as glass railings, wood cladding, and abundant landscaping cohesively yield a jewel box outdoor space that crowns each home.
Casa Vista has been exclusively conceived by Sunland Group’s in-house design team, whose staunch commitment to blending the line between indoors and out is immediately evident in the property’s exterior design which features a rooftop overhang with delicate slats and a multitude of floor-to-ceiling windows. The building’s eye-catching facade has been seamlessly split between a white stucco upper half and a lower stone half composed of Moca Creme Limestone. Transitioning indoors the five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom home spans more than 4,500SF and employs a modernist aesthetic that becomes immediately warmed with a light color palette and wood and stone accents. The first floor features an open concept plan including a fully-appointed kitchen and dining area; oversized living space, and ensuite bedroom. Fully openable, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors run the entire length of the back of the residence and invite the outdoors in while generously illuminating the common areas. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels frame views of the adjacent waterfront and rear outdoor space, which has been artfully arranged to emphasize the waterfront access and includes an alfresco dining area, lap pool with spa and sundeck.
The second floor is dedicated to the remaining four sleeping quarters, all of which are ensuite. The primary bedroom is a tranquil sanctuary with its abundance of space, dressing room-style walk-in closet, luxuriously appointed bathroom, and private terrace overlooking the waterfront. A secondary terrace provides the other three bedrooms with additional outdoor space. Atop the home is the landscaped rooftop patio featuring splendid water views. A two-car garage is attached on the ground level.

Casa Coral Marea Collection in Miami Belle Meade homes:
Designed in collaboration with Gonzalo Mardones, Casa Coral presents a different, yet equally distinctive architectural experience. The sculptural, geometric home is anchored by block-like moments and clean, modern lines that are immediately softened through the use of wood accented interiors and natural light. The home is just over 4,600 SF and shares an open-concept floorplan similar to Casa Vista. Featuring an exceptionally private street front design, upon transitioning indoors the residence opens up to expansive views of the waterfront towards the rear, creating a dynamic juxtaposition of seclusion and space that yields a compelling lightbeam effect onto the street at nightfall. The home has been outfitted with four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, with its top-of-the-line kitchen, living room, dining area, and one ensuite bedroom encompassing the entire first floor. The water-facing outdoor area at the home’s rear extends off of the living space and is complete with a grilling station, alfresco dining area, lap pool, spa and oversized sundeck.
Like Casa Vista, the remaining bedrooms including the primary are situated on the home’s second floor. Spa-like in its design, the primary suite’s oversized bathroom opens onto a private terrace with waterfront views. A den-like area serves as a connecting point to an intimate private terrace as well as the remaining two bedrooms, each featuring an ensuite bathroom. A landscaped rooftop terrace with built-in, backlit benches caps the property, while a two-car garage is on the ground level.
“While modern design has been considered colder in the past, we’ve always viewed it as this incredible ‘blank canvas’ that enables you to draw the natural world in through its minimalist aesthetic, “ said Evelyn Gavilondo, Director of Design at Sunland Group. “We employed this design philosophy with the Marea Collection, balancing the clean lines and fluidity of open floorplans with a warmth and ease that is created through the incorporation of the natural landscape and waterways and the use of organic materials. This enabled us to craft a limited collection of homes that is both high design and sumptuously livable.”
Located in Miami’s Upper East Side neighborhood, Belle Meade has retained an air of privacy and exclusivity over the years, further lending to its innate appeal. It is situated along the historic Biscayne Boulevard, also known as US Route 1. The bustling thoroughfare offers a direct link to Downtown as well as incredible vistas that take locals and tourists alike through Miami’s rich cultural heritage. A true hidden gem, Belle Meade provides a welcome respite from Miami’s ever-pulsing energy with its gated community and tree-lined streets, thus offering the incredibly rare opportunity to reside in a safe, waterfront oasis in the heart of the city.
Sunland Group’s in-house sales and marketing team, Sunland Real Estate, is exclusively representing the Collection. For more information please visit https://marea.sunlandgp.com/. Casa Vista and Casa Coral are both priced at $10 million.
