SNN Marketing Office by Thomas Parambil Architects. Located in Bengaluru, this 3,800 sq.ft. project looks at the marketing office a little differently. Instead of a purely transactional space, it’s imagined as the first experience of the homes it represents. A terracotta screen wraps the building, bringing warmth while softening its presence along the street. It’s a simple idea, creating a place that feels calm, inviting, and easy to step into.
This marketing office by Thomas Parambil Architects is imagined as more than just a place to sell homes,it’s the first step into the experience of living there. Sitting along the street as a bold yet approachable form, the building feels solid but never overwhelming. Vertical fins wrap the façade, softening its edges while catching light and shadow through the day, giving it a quiet sense of movement and warmth.
The design brings together three distinct parts: the marketing office at the ground level, an engineering office above, and a security and services block to the north. Instead of reading as separate pieces, these volumes are tied together by a continuous screen that wraps around them. Finished in a warm terracotta tone, this layer adds depth and rhythm to the façade while also helping filter light and maintain privacy. It’s a simple move, but one that holds the entire composition together.
The building sits within a landscaped foreground that eases the transition from street to interior. This soft edge makes the arrival feel considered and calm, rather than abrupt or overly formal. There’s a sense of pause before you step inside, which feels important for a space like this.
Inside, the planning is straightforward and welcoming. A reception area leads into spaces designed for interaction, display zones, model showcases, and meeting areas where conversations can happen comfortably. Everything is laid out to feel intuitive, without being overly directed. At the same time, the back-end requirements, staff areas, storage, and services, are neatly integrated so the experience remains seamless.
What the client was looking for was a space that could act as a gateway to the larger residential project, something that reflects the quality and lifestyle being offered. The design responds to that by balancing clarity with warmth. It’s visible and easy to access, yet still offers a sense of privacy and comfort once you’re inside.
In the end, it’s a building that does its job quietly but effectively, creating a strong first impression, while also making people feel at ease. A place where the idea of home begins to take shape, without needing to say too much.
