New Delhi Architecture Introduction
New Delhi is is the capital city of India. The city is located in the north of the country. New Delhi is the seat of executive, legislative, and judiciary branches of the Government of India.
President’s House in Delhi:

British Architect Edwin Lutyens collaborated with Herbert Baker in building New Delhi. The foundation of the city was laid on 15 December 1911.
Famous architects with buildings in the city include Morphogenesis and Kerry Hill Architects. Other key Indian architects with work in the city include Romi Khosla Design Studios.

Delhi has the forts – Red Fort, The Old Fort and the Tughlakabad fort ; mosques – the very famous Jama Masjid and Nizzamudin Mosque ; and tombs – Humanyun’s tomb and Safdarjung Tomb. Qutub Minar – the tallest Minar in the world, Jantar mantar – ancient sun dial, the Lotus Temple, the Birla Temple and many more. We can visit all these buildings on our New Delhi Architecture Tours.
