The Newt in Somerset is a unique re-imagining of a large Country House Estate in Somerset into a nationally and internationally significant visitor destination. The original Grade II* listed manor, Hadpsen House, now open to the public for the first time in its history, has been sensitively repaired and converted into a hotel.

The Story of Gardening Museum has been awarded a RIBA National Award 2021, a RIBA Southwest Sustainability Award 2021, and the Newt in Somerset have received the RIBA Southwest Client of the Year 2021. The Story of Gardening is located on the edge of a well-established small woodland area within the wider visitor attraction at The Newt in Somerset, near to Bruton.

A disused corner of the school site has been transformed to create a new building for all of the school’s musical facilities, including teaching and rehearsal space, a recital hall and industry-specification recording suite.

Castle Green Bridge
Moxon Architects have completed Castle Green Bridge, located in the grounds of a scheduled ancient monument, in the market town of Taunton. The Bridge has been shortlisted for a BCIA [British Construction Industry Award] as well as being shortlisted for an RIBA award and was the winner of the ACE [Association of Consulting Engineers] ‘Constructing Excellence Award’.

The first phase of a new mixed-use development, Fortescue Fields, in the heart of the Somerset hills in the village of Norton St Philip has just been completed. The new neighbourhood has been built on the site of a derelict chicken processing factory and extends one of the most attractive and desirable villages in the Southwest. Designed by Robert Adam of ADAM Architecture, the new area reflects and adds to the traditional character of Norton St Philip.
