RIBA Southeast Awards Winners in 2018
Five buildings in the Southeast win 2018 architecture awards
Five buildings in the Southeast have won RIBA Southeast Awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects, has been announced at a prestigious awards ceremony held at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge on Thursday 17 May 2018, in recognition of their architectural excellence. The event was hosted by ITV Meridian presenter, Stacey Poole.
Regional Jury Chair, Sarah Featherstone of Featherstone Young, said of this year’s RIBA Southeast Award winners:
“The variety of the entries was fantastic, ranging from private houses to the larger public and institutional buildings. The Southeast has an incredible architectural heritage, with buildings that have the capacity to amaze, inspire and improve our quality of life.”

RIBA Southeast Award winners will also be considered for a highly-coveted RIBA National Award in recognition of their architectural excellence, which will be announced on Thursday 21 June. The shortlist for the RIBA Stirling Prize for the best building of the year will be drawn from the RIBA National Award-winning buildings later in the year.
