National Music Center Calgary, Canada : Allied Works

The project is the latest cultural building by this US architectural studio. Previous architecture designs include Clyfford Still Museum in Denver, the Seattle Art Museum and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, all in the United States of America. The five-storey building will contain a 300-seat performance hall, recording facility, broadcasting studio and exhibition galleries totalling 22,000 sqft, plus classrooms and spaces for artists-in-residence.

firstsite, Colchester, Essex, England, UK : Rafael Viñoly Architects

Firstsite will be a home for the work of the long established visual arts organisation of the same name. Spread over 3,200 square metres on a landmark site bounded by the original Roman wall of Colchester, and set in extensive grounds, the new building will include purpose-built gallery spaces for major international exhibitions.
Wuhan Greenland Center Tower, China : Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture

Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture is pleased to announce that it has won an international competition to design Wuhan Greenland Center, which at 606 meters (1,988 feet) will likely be China’s third-tallest building, and the fourth tallest in the world, when completed in about five years. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer in Wuhan near the meeting of the Yangtze and Han rivers.

Twin Tree Towers are two 17-storey office buildings located in the southeast sector of the 600 years old capital of Korea, Gyeongbuk Palace, Insadong, and Samchungdong. These are all densely populated and active historical districts in Seoul.
Pazhou District Masterplan, Guangzhou, China : Goettsch Partners

A master plan by Goettsch Partners (GP) has been selected as the winning scheme in the design competition for a prominent site in the new Pazhou district in Guangzhou, China. Three urban parcels form the triangular site, which is planned for seven buildings totaling 428,000 square meters.
SNCI Tower, New York City, USA : solus4

This iconic 950 foot tall residential tower is proposed for a micro-urban site in New York City. Designed by solus4, an architecture and planning firm, the tower is a vertical neighborhood creating an efficient and valuable use for a small and otherwise underutilized water’s edge site.
