Hollola Library – contemporary Finnish library building
The library building is situated in the centre of Hollola and encloses the northern edge of Market Square. The building is organised on a single floor, but on the side of the square the eave height reaches nine metres. This helps provide enclosure for the square and to give the library a status of a public building.
House Moby Dick, Espoo, Finland
Date built: 2003

Moby Dick House
This biomorphic house peeks to the street from behind the rocks. A stair built of stone and a bridge out of steel lead to the main entrance on the first floor above ground level. You enter the building through an organic, white outer wall. The first floor contains a living-room, a library, master bedroom and two balconies. The ground floor houses childrens’ spaces, guestroom and a garage. The basement contains sauna facilities, fireplace and a gym.
Katajanokka Housing, Helsinki, Finland
Date built: 2007

Katajanokka Housing
First prize in invitational architectural competition in 2003
Housing area is situated in Katajanokka, Helsinki next to the sea. Residence floor plans are straightforward and systematic, thus making serial-customizing easy. Large windows and views across residence makes them lightful and open up good views.
