ODA-designed duplex penthouse at Four Seasons Residences Deer Valley to become Utah’s most expensive condominium listing
The $37 Million Residence Marks a Milestone in Contemporary Alpine Living
The most expensive condominium in Utah has come to market within the Four Seasons Private Residences Deer Valley. Developed by New York-based Extell Development Company and designed by global architecture and interior design firm ODA, the Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences is located in the heart of Deer Valley East Village, the first ski village built from the ground up in North America in more than forty years and set to be one of the largest ski resorts in the region. The property’s duplex penthouse is listed for $37 million, setting a new benchmark for luxury residential real estate in Utah.
Designed by ODA, the six-bedroom, seven-and-a-half bath penthouse sits atop The Four Seasons hotel on the 11th and 12th floors. The penthouse spans 7,066 square feet, complemented by more than 500 square feet of outdoor terrace space overlooking the surrounding mountains and valley. ODA designed the interiors to blend rugged stone, wood, metallic accents, and expansive glass curtains that feel reminiscent of the natural components of the Wasatch mountain range while creating a contemporary alpine residence.
Rooted in ODA’s philosophy that form follows experience, the penthouse is shaped not by a checklist of amenities but by the rhythms of mountain life. Direct ski access and a private elevator frame the arrival sequence, while expansive living and dining spaces are oriented to maximize views across the surrounding valley. Materials were chosen for warmth and texture, sight lines calibrated to the landscape, and the architecture and interiors conceived as one continuous environment so that the Wasatch range remains the defining presence in every room.
“This residence is a chance to redefine what alpine living can be, rooted in the landscape, in how people gather, and in the kind of experience that stays with you long after you leave,” said Eran Chen, Founder and Executive Director of ODA. “At ODA, we design around what people feel, not just what they see. When you get that right, the value takes care of itself.”
ODA’s scope for Deer Valley East Village includes architecture, interiors, and landscape design for Four Seasons Private Residences Deer Valley, a two-tower hotel and condominium property. The property totals 123 residences across two towers:the 15-story Hotel Residence Tower, with 55 residences on its top seven floors, and the 12-story Private Residence Tower, with 68 residences — joined by a shared podium and connected by an interior skybridge. Rather than competing with the surrounding Wasatch Mountains, ODA’s architecture is designed to emerge from the landscape. Stone podiums anchor each structure, buildings with wood and glass facades break apart and settle into the terrain to mimic the feeling of a village, and transition zones of greenery and curves reflective of the flowing river.
Four Seasons Residences Deer Valley will offer eight total penthouses across the two towers.
About ODA
ODA – https://oda-architecture.com/ is an award-winning office of architecture, interior design, and landscape, founded in 2007 by Eran Chen, AIA with more than 50 projects globally and studios in New York City, London, and Buenos Aires. Guided by the belief that form follows experience, Eran approaches architecture as a vessel for human connection, emotion, and belonging.
Through a range of scales and typologies, ODA seeks to reconcile density with porosity, and vertical urban living with quality of life. Since its inception, ODA has emerged as one of the most recognized firms of its generation, establishing a reputation for experience-driven and mold breaking design that prioritizes people over pure function. Rather than seeing buildings as isolated objects, ODA designs architecture as an extension of the streetscape, blurring the boundaries between private and public realms to strengthen communities and urban life.
Working across both new construction and adaptive reuse, Eran views architecture as an opportunity for second chances. By reimagining existing structures like OLA Palermo in Buenos Aires, Book Tower in Detroit, and POST Rotterdam, he transforms memory into modernity, creating buildings that continue to evolve with their cities while honoring what came before. With this extensive portfolio and human-centric approach, ODA is recognized as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Architecture Companies, dedicated to designing meaningful experiences that restore the emotional and social value of the built environment and contribute to a more equitable urban future.
