On a sloping site that overlooks two streets, stands House Squared, a fusion of aesthetics and functionality. The overall design of this simple, cubic and minimalist house allows the materials, their shapes and textures to speak for themselves, creating an avant-garde yet timeless aesthetic.

The square house embraces contemporary aesthetics without sacrificing the essential functionality of a home. With its fusion of materials, layout and simple design, this home rises to new heights in the search for balance between form and function.

Materials don’t lie
The exterior of this house stands out for its face brick, a tribute to the industrial style, which intertwines with the concrete in a dance of textures and colours that bring the façade to life. The large windows, which open up the soul of this square house, allow a continuous relationship between the interior and the exterior, flooding the spaces with natural light and panoramic views.

Everything in its place
The ground floor is reserved for the day areas, arranged around a central core that houses the toilet and kitchen furniture. The rest of the spaces flow to make way for the social interactions that take place in them, emphasising the notion of “open concept” and enhancing the feeling of spaciousness and connectivity.

The first floor, in contrast to the effervescence of the ground floor, is dedicated to privacy and relaxation. The master bedroom opens onto a balcony with panoramic views that invite the calm of the landscape.

A basement that transcends its mere storage function, housing a gym and a multi-purpose room. This area, with its discreet and private access, becomes a haven for physical and social activities. In addition, the house has a garage and utility rooms, demonstrating the concern for the functionality of the home.

In this square house, the combination of materials and, above all, the shape they take as a whole, are its main hallmark, as its name indicates. To this, we add the intimate relationship between the interior and exterior space, giving the final touch with a good dose of natural light in all its rooms.

Sobre un terreno en pendiente que vuelca a dos calles, se alza esta casa al cuadrado, una fusión entre la estética y la funcionalidad. El diseño general de esta vivienda sencillo, de forma cúbica y minimalista, permitiendo que los materiales, sus formas y texturas hablen por sí mismos, creando una estética vanguardista a la par que atemporal.

La casa al cuadrado abraza la estética contemporánea sin sacrificar la funcionalidad esencial de un hogar. Con la fusión de materiales, su distribución y el diseño sencillo, esta vivienda se eleva a nuevas alturas en la búsqueda del equilibrio entre forma y función.

Los materiales no mienten
El exterior de esta vivienda destaca por el ladrillo caravista, un homenaje al estilo industrial, que se entrelaza con el hormigón en un baile de texturas y colores que dan vida a la fachada. Los grandes ventanales, que abren paso al alma de esta casa al cuadrado, permiten una relación continua entre el interior y el exterior, inundando los espacios con luz natural y vistas panorámicas.

Cada cosa en su lugar
La planta baja está reservada para las áreas de día, dispuestas alrededor de un núcleo central que alberga el aseo y el mobiliario de la cocina. El resto de espacios fluyen para dejar paso a las interacciones sociales que en ellos se producen, remarcando la noción de “concepto abierto” y potenciando la sensación de amplitud y conectividad.

La planta primera, en contraste con la efervescencia de la planta baja, se dedica a la intimidad y el descanso. El dormitorio principal se abre a un balcón con vistas panorámicas que invitan a la calma del paisaje.

Un sótano que trasciende su mera función de almacenamiento, pues alberga un gimnasio y una sala polivalente. Esta área, con su acceso discreto y privado, se convierte en un refugio para actividades físicas y sociales. Además, la vivienda cuenta con un garaje y cuartos de instalaciones, que demuestran la preocupación por la funcionalidad de la vivienda.

En esta casa al cuadrado, la combinación de materiales y sobre todo, la forma que toman en su conjunto, suponen su principal seña de identidad, como indica su nombre. A ello, le añadimos la íntima relación entre el espacio interior y exterior, dándole el toque final con una buena dosis de luz natural en todas sus estancias.
