Images have been revealed of Robert Adam’s classical hotel design for a new 73 room hotel in Soho for base2stay™, approved by Westminster Council’s planning committee. They said the design was “much more in keeping with the conservation area” and commented “I like the design. It’s not a replica of what was there before but it’s a nice restrained neo-classical design”.
The five storey hotel terminates an important Soho vista and will be built from natural stone. A dramatic double-height entrance includes a guilded statue.
Work is likely to start on site for The Nadler Soho in early 2011 to provide 73 contemporary interior designed air-conditioned hotel rooms, without bar or restaurant, in keeping with the base2stay concept.

About base2stayTM
Following the continued success, critical acclaim and reviews across the world press of the base2stay concept launched in Kensington in April 2006, innovative founder Robert Nadler is delighted to be taking the “Smart Luxury” concept to new UK sites in 2010; “Luxury” because the base2stay promise provides a guarantee of stylish, comfortable, air-conditioned rooms – “Smart” because base2stay edits out many of the unused extras offered by traditional hotels and provides value for money with no hidden surprises on the final bill. The next base2stay concept will be launching in Liverpool in August 2010.
