Location: Budapest, Hungary
Veres Residence is a house and garden that is suitable for a family of 2 children and can also serve a great social life had to be designed on a lot having a beautiful western-facing panoramic view in a small town belonging to the suburbs of Budapest.
The architects wanted to design a contemporary, value-creating building serving as a model for the future in the relatively heterogeneous environment of the area.
An inconspicuous, simple but elegant mass forming.
The key products used are large slabs for the exterior and interior surfacing: fibreC (Switzerland), KAZA Concerte 3D interior surfacing (Hungarian Invention)
A young, agile entrepreneur before starting a family. He was a demanding businessman who knew B13 architect’s previous work, so he trusted them. He gave the architects a free hand on the project that made designing work easy.
The restrained exterior hides a glamorous interior. Unique interior design solutions and material usage.
Monolithic reinforced concrete structure. Structural solutions that meet the criteria of the passive house.
Energy supply of the house is provided by geothermal system.
