The Dream Space Multipurpose Multimedia Room, north east Spain
The Dream Space – A Multipurpose Multimedia Room is a dedicated space designed to provide families and visitors with a comfortable, private environment for rest, meditation, small workshops, and conferences, located within the Tibidabo Amusement Park in Barcelona. This space is thoughtfully integrated into the park’s broader concept of play and family-friendly experiences, offering a serene, welcoming atmosphere amidst the park’s vibrant activity.
The design focuses on both functionality and comfort, using natural and calming materials. A protective element, resembling a screen or partition, is created with tubular metal profiles (45 mm in diameter), ensuring privacy without disrupting the openness of the space. Around the perimeter, benches are constructed from the same metal profile, with wooden seating nestled within, topped with soft cushions for added comfort.
A distinctive feature of the space is the light fixture, designed with colored acrylic panels in vibrant hues. These panels are stacked in three layers, creating a warm, gentle light that enhances the space’s inviting ambiance.
In keeping with the park’s playful and vibrant theme, the surrounding walls and ceilings are painted in a bright yellow-orange color, enhancing the cheerful atmosphere. The incorporation of tactile, easy-to-maintain functional furniture encourages informal seating, allowing visitors to relax and rest comfortably.
Overall, The Dream Space is a place that balances the need for privacy and comfort with a playful, inviting aesthetic, making it an essential part of the family-friendly experience at Tibidabo.
