This is a sophisticated design of well-planned apartments set within a quietly appointed enclave in the city where the natural environment is still well-preserved.
The terrain and surrounding nature were intelligently used to organise the buildings to create a setting of understated elegance in perfectly crafted scale and proportions.
The thoughtfulness in the design is apparent at many levels.
The entrance court is discrete yet imparts the sense of arrival. Architectural detail is finely crafted in a sensibly selected palette of materials appropriate for the design and environment. The environmental deck is successfully manipulated and reflects the site terrain. Apartment layouts are sensible and generously planned. The comprehensive design skills shown by the design team is highly commendable.

Bukit Timah House

Bukit Timah House in Singapore
The house is expressed by coupling two forms; a tall and narrow single-room width block housing the master bedroom, study and attic-living and the wider block at the rear accommodating two children bedrooms side by side. The formal expression the house is also a response to the strict local interpretation of attic guidelines.

The finishes are restful, with contemporary furnishings adding a modern look to the space. On the upper floor are the master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and an additional guest room, both en-suite.
