Shanghai, China is a key Chinese city and is expanding fast. It is located on the eastern coast of China. It is the largest city by population of the People’s Republic of China.

The large building development is located at the intersection of Kaixuan Road and Huaihai West Road of Changning District. The site is accessible via MTR Line 10 at Hongqiao Road Station, is adjacent to the Shanghai City Sculpture Art Centre, and Redtown Art District.

Suzhou Financial Center Exhibition Hall
This architectural project is located in the central section next to Suzhou Canal, where there is a grand canal view in the distance and urban trunk road in close proximity. The architects explore inherent logic of local cultural form and language and apply them to the design to stimulate the vitality of surrounding open space and make it the city parlor for residents.

Located at a major high-end commercial district, a dynamic new building façade is created for the flagship store of this Chinese fashion house.
Location: People’s Republic of China (PRC), eastern Asia

Tea House Shanghai
The Tea House is to be found in the backyard of Archi-Union’s J-office. The building is constructed from the salvaged parts of the original warehouse’s collapsed roof, next to a mature tree.

Shanghai Oriental Sports Center
The main structure of the closed building with a round ground plan consists of reinforced concrete, while the roof is a steel structure with a 170m span with aluminium cladding. The parallel steel girders create 35m-high arcades and include the glass façades of the encircling open foyer.

Hongqiao Soho Shanghai
The concept for this new Chinese mixed-use building consists of the underlying simplicity of the set of four parallel slabs. The design provides the convenience and flexibility of a simple modular system based on a 8.4 meters grid and a building depth of about 18 meters.

China Diamond Exchange Center
The China Diamond Exchange Center was commissioned by Shanghai Lujiazui Development Co. Ltd.. The 535,500-sqft office building is sited on Century Avenue, the 300-foot-wide boulevard in Shanghai’s Pudong district, a financial and commercial hub for the city.
