Enterkine Country House Resort
Set within a picturesque 350-acre estate in Ayrshire, Enterkine Country House Resort combines historic character with contemporary hospitality on the banks of the River Ayr.
Recently refurbished, the resort offers luxury accommodation within the country house and across the wider estate, complemented by fine dining, versatile event spaces, and an immersive rural setting.
Originally constructed in the late 1930s to an exceptionally high specification for William S. Houston following his return from Canada, the house retains many of its original architectural features, carefully preserved and enhanced through sensitive contemporary interventions.
The Riverview Restaurant & Bar, celebrated for its afternoon teas, seasonal cuisine, and panoramic river views, forms the culinary heart of the estate, while the bespoke handcrafted Oak Glass Pavilion introduces a striking modern venue that has established the resort as one of Scotland’s leading destinations for weddings and special events.
