In this exclusive report by Greek architectural photographer Pygmalion Karatzas we bring you the best new buildings in Qatar.

Recently in the news worldwide for issues surrounding FIFA 2022 World Cup the country is buoyant like many on the Gulf. There is a wide range of new buildings, not just the obligatory ‘aren’t we doing well’ skyscrapers but also museums, parks and galleries.

Of particular note are a series of American university buildings, part of an explosion of top western academic institutions placing roots in Asia.
