IMPERIAL DONCASTER DELIVERS THE ULTIMATE IN LUXURY LIVING
17th November 2015 – AXF’s residential development, Imperial Doncaster, was recently completed, delivering the ultimate in luxury, comfort and convenience in one of Melbourne’s most rapidly changing suburbs.

The 96 unit complex was designed to appeal to a wide demographic, easily catering to the needs of downsizing owner-occupiers with bigger apartment sizes and generous balcony spaces.
“The development brings the epitome of modern urban living to Doncaster,” said Principal Harvey Male.
“The apartments offer a series of adaptable layouts, thoughtful apartment design and established infrastructure. Residents have everything they need with the benefit of a convenient location and services, communal gardens and outdoor spaces.”
The development, featuring a range of one to three bedroom apartments with a series of large penthouses, is set on a steeply sloping site opposite Westfield Doncaster. The Buchan Group’s design takes into consideration the local suburbs, parks, shopping centre and already established businesses.
“We sought a balance between the economical, environmental and aesthetic,” said Harvey.
The design responds to the existing landform, stepping down to the west, to both mediate with the existing suburban fabric and to create large planted terraces for penthouse units that benefit from panoramic city views.
The interior design response underpins the luxury, style and sophistication of the development, employing a delicate play between luxe and natural materials to maintain a timeless elegance.
The design considers the surrounding urban grain, using fine detailing and harmonious qualities to create a contrast between tones and textures, reflecting the distinction between the calmness of the apartment space and the busy suburban streetscape.
A point of difference in the interior design is the intelligent use of space. A true sense of openness is evoked through the clever use of storage and the zoned spaces designed to work from their own principles. Kitchens are designed to inspire gourmet cooking; bedrooms reflect the grand nature of hotel suites; and living rooms are designed for living with large open spaces and sweeping views.
