Educliff Global School Bihar – India Modern Building Design

The Educliff Global School is a philanthropic endeavour to build a CBSE-accredited primary school in Dularpur village, Bihar. Through its design, the school creates an environment that fosters learning, creativity and wellbeing.

Sited in a small village of around 3500 people, the project aims to incorporate local materials and techniques, engage village artisans, and create community spaces, thereby instilling a sense of association with the built environment.

The design of the school creates spaces that brew cultural collaboration and foster community engagement. Spaces such as staircases with articulated seatingand amphitheatres encapsulate the vibrancy of spaces, encouraging interaction.

Inspired by indigenous architecture, the brick and wooden jaalis mitigate heat gain and reduce glare. The school manifests as a building that scores high on sustainability and low on operational and embodied energy parameters. Set to complete in early 2022, Educliff attempts to redefine education design standards for rural India.
