To clarify the two axes: The streets are actually crowded by parked cars. This needs to be removed to increase the attractiveness of the area for pedestrians and cyclists. Moreover, the space occupied by cars will be transformed into green areas and pedestrian paths. Space for cars will be limited to one lane, with a separate lane for cycles.

SAS Royal Hotel Copenhagen
The hotel was designed by Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen for the airline Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS). It was opened in 1960 by King Frederick IX and Queen Ingrid as the Royal Hotel.
It was also known as the SAS Royal Hotel. The hotel was renamed the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in 1994, when SAS signed a joint marketing agreement with Radisson Hotels. When SAS and Radisson ceased the marketing agreement in 2009, the hotel remained with Radisson and was renamed the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel. In 2018 it was renamed Radisson Collection Hotel, Royal Copenhagen.

The atmosphere varies between an intimate canalside environment and areas characterised by a large scale and open views of the surrounding harbour areas. The houses are frequently located right next to the canals, while bridges, wharfs and waterside steps allow residents to get close to the water surface and dip their toes in the water.
