Major Copenhagen Architectural Projects, chronological:
Nykredit Headquarters Building
Design: Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects

Nykredit Headquarters Building – the Crystal
The extension to Nykredit consists of a new building – the Crystal – sited northwest of the existing Nykredit premises. Freestanding on the site, it readas as a transparent, geometrical, glazed form which, resting only on a single point and a single line, floats as a visually light, crystalline structure above the plaza.
The Royal Playhouse
Design: Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter

Royal Playhouse Building
The building consists of three compositional elements:
The oak-clad promenade, a public walk floating on thin columns over the water, gives access to the foyer.
The scene building, containing the auditorium and three scenes, echoes the material character of the harbour front.
The expansive and unifying roof level contains personnel facilities and gives spectacular views.

Royal Library extension : Sort Diamant
Design: Schmidt, Hammer & Lassen, Architects

Sort Diamant – ‘Black Diamond’
A remarkable and innovative building of its time. When the Royal Library in Copenhagen opened to the public there was general concern in society that libraries might become redundant in the future. But contrary to this, the role and influence of libraries are positioned to increase as our civic and ‘free’ space diminishes Libraries are needed as much as ever in the 21st century as hubs for information, research, learning, communication and culture.

Maritime Youth House
Two clients had to share the facilities: a sail club and a youth house. Their desires were opposite: the youth house wanted outdoor space for the kids to play, the sail club needed most of the site to park their boats.
